A Fight to the Death is:
CJ Bargamian (guitar, vocals, knick knacks)
Colin Jaccino (bass)
Mark Carbone (percussion)
Nathan Green (keys, backing vocals)
George Wallace (pedal steel)

In terms of sound, the band mixes elements of sparse western scores, Americana, eastern-European gypsy music, and avant-garde rock. CJ released his debut solo record (as Chris Bargamian & A Fight to the Death) titled ’American Literature’ in 2006, and the follow-up ’End of Continent Sadness’ in early 2007. Now a full band with a consistent lineup, A Fight to the Death is hard at work on their forthcoming LP; a Spring 2008 release is planned.

Here is the obligatory mention of previous bands of which AFTTD’s members were/are a part: CJ played guitar for Atlanta post-indie-whatever band Crybaby, and before that he played guitar for a bit in Atlanta dark western band Myssouri. Colin and George also lend their talents to Atlanta’s own Hot Grits. Mark played drums for Crybaby as well, and until recently he and Nathan y also performed with No River City. Mark, Nathan, and CJ have all also performed with Goodnight Insomniacs at various times.
