Free Virtual EP from CJ
OK, so my dog had leg surgery and I’ve had to stay home and look after her all weekend. That means I have had time to do some goofy stuff…like record a 5 song EP of Townes van Zandt cover songs.
So here’s the deal. I sat down at home with nothing but a mic and a baritone ukulele, and recorded 5 TvZ songs that I’ve known how to play for a while. I did the lead vocals and uke live in single takes, and then overdubbed some harmony vocals after that. That’s it – not a lick of guitar or percussion….just a jackass in his house with a uke and about 4 spare hours on a rainy Saturday.

Welcome to the new AFTTD site – hopefully it won’t break when you try to use it. We’ll be making all sorts of updates in the next few days – new pictures, new video, and free downloads.
