Ah, the era of social media. It has made us lazy with the website updates; we stay on top of Facebook and Twitter, and neglect our own site! Sigh.
But oh buddy, lots of stuff has happened in the almost 2 months since our last update! For starters, we released our second full-length LP “Gesture of a Gentleman” (you can buy it here), and marked the occasion with an amazingly-fun show at the Star Bar. The night was recorded (in video and audio) and we’ll be posting clips online in the near future.
As many of you have no doubt noticed, we’ve been getting a fair amount of radio play these days – big ups to the WRAS crew for getting the ball roliin’ on that!
Just this past weekend, we performed alongside our good friends Blair Crimmins and Lindsay Appel at the EARL’s pre-Independence Day bash. The place was packed with beer-swilling musical patriots, and what a blast we had. Thanks a million to all who came!
A little tidbit about our horizon: we’re currently working on what will become our next record. This will be an EP containing brand new tunes, recorded with very eclectic instrumentation (ukulele, hammered dulcimer, banjo, piano, percussion, pedal steel, dobro, etc). We think you’ll love it!
